Delete your account & data

You can delete your CaseGuardian account — and the personal information associated with it — at any time. Two ways: in-app, or by request to our support team.

Option 1 — In-app deletion (fastest)

  1. Open CaseGuardian on your phone.
  2. Tap your account avatar in the top-right.
  3. Scroll to Account & data.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

The in-app flow deletes your account immediately on submission. Encrypted blobs are removed from our infrastructure within 30 days; residual backups age out within 90 days. Bitcoin anchors in the public ledger cannot be retracted, but they contain only fingerprints — no personal information.

Option 2 — By request

If you cannot access the app, write to support@case-guardian.com with the subject line “Delete my CaseGuardian account.” Include the email address on file. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 7 days of receipt.

What happens when we delete your account

Before you delete

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. If you have records you may need later — for a court matter, an insurance claim, or any other reason — export them first. The Attorney Package and Compliance Export formats produce standalone .zip + .ots files verifiable in any browser, even after your account is gone.
